World of Images Intercollegiate Photo Contest 2023-2024
We proudly present the World of Images Intercollegiate Photo Contest for the 13th consecutive year. Since 2011, the CCDMD has hosted this contest that aims to encourage the next generation of photographers and to foster the production and sharing of high-quality photographs in the education sector.
The contest is open to all students and all employees of the Québec college network institutions where $3,000 in grants will be awarded to the winning students. The contest is judged by a jury made up of professionals and chaired by a renowned photographer. This year, the honorary chair is Serge Clément, photographer.
The thirteenth edition of the contest will start on 23 October 2023. The participants have the possibility to submit up to 5 photographs. Files must be uploaded directly to the World of Images website by 18 March 2024.

The contest in numbers
Since the first edition (2011-2012)…
- more than 18,000 photographs have been submitted by 4,400 students and 35 employees from 65 institutions in the Quebec college network.
- 72 winners have received $34,000 in grants.
- 55 participants have received honourable mentions.
- 9 exhibitions have been held in colleges and CEGEPs.
