Virtual Information Sessions: CCDMD Digital Resources Overview

Teachers from the college network are invited to five virtual information sessions. Each one-hour session will focus on different CCDMD digital resources

Several CCDMD team members will host these sessions on Zoom during the week of April 13, 2020. They will demonstrate how these valuable resources will be particularly helpful in carrying out the remainder of the semester in a context where we have to revisit how we teach.

The CCDMD working for the college network: its mandate and many resources

We will make a brief presentation on the CCDMD’s mandate, talk about the Call for Projects, and give an overview of some specific tools and resources. The focus will be on the flexibility of most of our resources, which can be easily integrated into different teaching contexts.

Overview of CCDMD resources in English, including Cantare and Eco2

We will make a brief presentation on the CCDMD’s mandate, talk about the Call for Projects, and give an overview of some specific tools and resources. Particularly, we will provide a more detailed description of Cantare (Learning languages through listening and pronunciation) and Eco2 (Learning languages using audio files and captions).

Netquiz Web+: Create online formative and summative questionnaires

Netquiz Web+ is a comprehensive tool for creating, posting and managing online formative and summative questionnaires. We will explore Netquiz Web+ and its online help section, as well as some examples of questionnaires.

World of Images and Conférences numériques: A wealth of photographs, videos and lectures to explore World of Images is a place where users share different media files, e.g., photographs, drawings, written works and videos. The Conférences numériques website features presentations, debates and lectures that are relevant for Quebec’s higher education institutions. We will present these powerful collections and explain how one can contribute to either platform.

Amélioration du français and Francomane: Two websites that offer an invaluable wealth of resources for improving French-language skills

Over the years, the CCDMD has created many helpful resources for improving French-language skills. We will explore those resources that will prove to be the most relevant in the current context: exercises on the Amélioration du français website, some interactive activities and guided courses such as Le détecteur de fautes and Sortir de l’impasse avec les participes passés, as well as animated capsules and exercises on basic grammar concepts on the Francomane website.
