The CCDMD launches the 10th edition of the World of Images Intercollegiate Photo Contest
For the 10th consecutive year, the CCDMD is proud to present the World of Images Intercollegiate Photo Contest. Every year since 2011, the CCDMD has hosted this contest that aims to encourage the next generation of photographers and to foster the production and sharing of high-quality photographs in the education sector.
The usually students-only contest will be open this year to all employees of the Québec college network's institutions. This year, $3,000 in grants and five annual subscriptions to Photo Solution magazine will be awarded.
The contest is judged by a jury made up of professionals and chaired by a renowned photographer. This year, the honorary chair is Joannie Lafrenière, photographer and director.
The 10th edition of the contest begins on September 28, 2020, and includes, for the occasion, new features such as the addition of a separate category for employees of the college network's institutions and the possibility for participants to submit up to 10 photographs. Files must be uploaded directly to the World of Images website by March 10, 2021.
