The Campus Director, Don Shewan, and the Academic Dean, Anthony Singelis, of Champlain Regional College Saint-Lambert, in collaboration with Cathy Dugas, Director of the Centre for Educational Materials Development (CCDMD), are pleased to invite you to the launch of the textbook Sketches of the History of Science.
Written by Justine Bell (Biology Teacher at Champlain College Saint-Lambert) and Justin Marleau (Research Associate at McGill University), Sketches of the History of Science, with its hundreds of illustrations and accessible writing style, helps students navigate the philosophical underpinnings of science, showing its roots in natural philosophy, and illuminating complex phenomena in early and modern biology, chemistry, and physics.
