The CCDMD (Collegial Centre for Educational Materials Development) is launching the fourth edition of its World of Images intercollegiate photography contest.
The competition will award more than $3,000 in prizes, including a first prize of $1,000 for best photo, People’s Choice prize (vote) and two participation prizes (draw). This year, the contest will be held under the honorary presidency of Jacques Nadeau, photojournalist at the daily Le Devoir.
The objective of the contest is to encourage the development of the next generation of photographers by facilitating the production and sharing of high-quality artistic or documentary works. Participation is restricted to students in the Québec CEGEP network. Each participant may submit a maximum of five photographs. Files may be uploaded directly to the World of Images website until April 10, 2015.
