January 8, 2008

Francophone award for technological books and communications

The CCDMD, co-publishers with Éditions Berger of the book Choix et entretien des tracteurs agricoles, is pleased to announce that this work by Yvon Tremblay of the Collège d’Alma has been selected by a jury of academic and industrial experts as a finalist for the Prix Roberval. The book, written for students of agricultural technology, was chosen from among 312 competing products.

This award, created in 1986 by the Université de Technologie de Compiègne in France, has two objectives: to make available to the general francophone public recent advances in technology, and to promote the use of the French language in the production and dissemination of scientific and technical knowledge. The title of the winning book will be announced on January 23, 2008. We wish Mr. Tremblay the best of luck!
