This software program allows the simulation of industrial processes and automatic control systems. Nonlinearities can be included as well as many functions such as hysteresis, bonding and many others without having to manipulate equations. All the functions are presented in the form of units linked among themselves. Many apparatuses, pieces of equipment, control strategies, governors, and processes are provided as files. An image editor allows the easy design of complex simulations, and tools for assessment, evaluation, display, data processing and calculation are also available.
Objectives
- Simulate simple and complex processes governed by various control systems that are equipped with all the functions one could meet in industrial systems;
- Model, simulate and analyze the performance of the processes, governors and systems;
- Configure, adjust and use control strategies for a given application;
- Justify the use of governors and special algorithms;
- Adjust the parameters of the governors to maximize the performances according to a chosen quality criteria.
