The English-language division of the CCDMD proudly presents the first edition of The Internet Directory for English Language Improvement, based on the model of its highly popular CCDMD French-language companion (Répertoire des meilleurs sites Internet pour l'amélioration du français).
This new collection of resources is aimed at students who are either learning English or using the language for academic purposes.
The sites are classified according to various criteria:
Sites were chosen for basic to advanced learner levels and target different student groups, such as English as a Second Language (ESL) students and students writing term papers using technical language.
Most of the sites are from Canada or Québec. Some very good American, British, and international sites have been included, but only if their content is appropriate for Canadian students.
Preference has been given to sites with multimedia tools that are free, easy to use and have demonstrable educational value.
Please send us your comments about the Directory. We hope you enjoy using it for discovery and learning!
